Traditional physical therapy is fantastic. It’s designed to take you from injured to "medically cleared." You do your exercises, your pain decreases, and you’re discharged. But here’s the catch: being out of pain doesn’t always mean you’re ready to deadlift, run a 5K at the Riverfest, or safely shovel a Wichita driveway after a surprise spring snowstorm. This is the dangerous gap where re-injuries happen. Your body has learned to move in a certain way to protect the injury. If we don't re-teach it how to move correctly and build resilient strength, you're likely to end up back at square one.
